Powderpuff Football

I have been SO excited to play flag football! I started this team a couple of months ago and our first game kept being pushed back then finally game day came!! We were all pumped. Our Elders Quorum came out and cheered us on. My parents came out too. We actually took out Christmas photo because we forgot to during thanksgiving.

Natalie and I got our game faces and struck a pose too:We didn't end up winning but had a really good time and can't wait for our next game on saturday.

Gingerbread House Making

A couple of Sundays we got together and made some gingerbread houses. It was fun hanging out with friends. Our house didn't turn out the greatest but I blame the people we were with for hogging all the tools. Jeremy got into in the end. We may try it again and perfect our work.

Christmas Lights

Jeremy and I are getting so exciting for Christmas. We have been putting up lights at his house and also his parents. We even drove by a couple of houses that went ALL out with christmas lights. It was amazing!! We love Christmas!

Tamale Day

Another annual Cobas Tamale Day. It should be a national holiday! We had a huge turn out this year. There were 12 cars packed in our small driveway and then 4 on top of the hill. We had a lot of new comers this time around. We had to have a serious training class. Everyone pulled through and we had a great time!

Twilight!

Twilight Movie finally came. Shelby, Natalie and I went to the midnight showing. It was alot of fun hanging with my girls. It was funny to hear all the teenage girls scream when Edward came on screen. Okay maybe we did too.

C-2 Harvest Fest

My ward had a harvest fest to celebrate harvesting? You have to come up with some reason to party. I got sucked into a couple of contest. The first one was the apple eating contest. The apple was on a string and you couldn't use your hands. I am not sure how I pulled it off but I totally won!

Then we had a pie eating contest I tried hard to win this one but I just couldn't compete with some of these guys.

Conference Weekend in Utah

Jeremy and I went to Utah this last weekend for conference. It was awesome. We left thursday night and stayed in Vegas for the night. We even tried our luck on the slots. We put in two bucks. We got up to 6 dollars and got greedy! We then lost it. Jeremy wanted to put his 20 dollar bill in but I got us got of there quickly. We ended up leaving with 2 cents.

So then we made it up to utah and had a great but exhausting trip. Friday night we up to Salt Lake and saw the Joseph Smith movie and then went to Christine and Brad's and play settlers with VeNicia. Saturday we had breakfast with Jen, Dave, Emily and Gretchen. That afternoon went over to the Belvins. Then went to dinner with Jeremy's mission companions. And then met up with my old roommates. Sunday we went to conference with Melissa and Camille. And then we headed home. We were on the go the whole time! But it was great seeing everyone and just great being with Jeremy :)!
