Sea World with Olivia

We took our niece Olivia to Sea World yesterday. We have been wanting to do that for awhile. It was a blast. We took her to the penguins first. She wasnt that interested in them. Then we took her to see the walrus and the polar bear. She thought it was spooky and was scared. But then we took her to the Shamu show and she loved it! It was fun to hang out with her. She played with her Shamu stuffed animal on the way home and made it splash.

Shiomi get together

We went to my uncles house to celebrate my mom's retirement. Back in the day all of us cousin's were pretty competitive. We would play dodge ball and football every time that we got together. Well we thought we would relive those days. We played dodge ball at first. Some had the brilliant idea that it should be boys against girls.

We we got clobbered! Now ten years ago I would have never admitted defeat but this time around I was fine being the loser. My cousin who is younger has matured as much as I have a continue to let us play boys against girls. But us girls got them back when we played football. The lesson that I learned was that I am not 18 anymore. I have grown a little and am a little out of shape and it doesn't matter how bad I want to beat these guys, I will still be sore the next day!

Our drive to Julian

Jeremy and I got a new camera so we decided to head to Julian for some fun and to take shots. It was a blast. We walked around this cute town. We went to one store that had all different kinds of candy. One of the candies had bugs in it. It was kind of funny that Jeremy was wearing his Pro Pacific Pest shirt on.

There happen to be a grape stomping fiesta. It was pretty cool. If we actually drank it would have been even greater! There was a live band and kettle corn. And there was huge barrels that you could stomp grapes in. Personally if I did drink, I don't think I would have drank this wine with tons of people putting their feet in it.

We also found these little blocks to build castles. Everyone else was amazing. Ours was kind of lame. So that is why we didn't but any pictures of the good ones so you don't think ours is that bad.

Our First Date

Jeremy and I celebrated our year anniversary of our first date. We went to some spots where it all started. First Jeremy texted me and asked me out like he did when he eventually asked me out.

We went to On the Border. Which was the resturant we went to. And it was kind of cool because we sat at the same booth that we did a year ago.

We then headed Boomers which was one of our first activites. We played a little round of minature golf.

It was a fun night. We are glad we went on this date a year ago!

Our Favorite Video

Here is a video of Jeremy and I having a good time

Happy 4th of July

This 4th of July was great. We went to Coronado for their parade in the morning. It was a really cool! There was one float that was incredible.

We then went to my brothers and then to Jeremys brother. Sorry there are no pictures. My batteries died. But it was a fun day!

Our New Ride

After a long and I do mean LONG process we finally got a new car. My car was on its way out and after the 50th time of it shutting off randomly. Yes it sometimes shut off even when I was driving on the free way. A little dangerous I guess. But we have settled with a 2008 Ford Escape.

Pirate Show

We went with some friends to Buena Park and saw the dinner and show Pirate Show. I have been wanting to go for a while and when 2 for 1 coupons came up I was on it. It was really cool.

The Del Mar Fair

Jeremy and I took a trip to the del mar fair. It was a lot of fun. There were some super cute animals that were there. Like these:

We then took a ride on the sky ride across the fair. It sounded like a really good idea at first but then the height and the sudden stopping started to get us a little freaked out. I tried to take fun pictures to get my mind off it and I turned over to Jeremy who was grasping the bar for dear life. He was a little nervous and nothing I could say could get his mind off it. We also saw the hypnotist. Which was a great show. So funny. But to be honest this is the reason we can. The strawberry funnel cake.

I left him alone for two minutes.

Tonight I asked Jeremy if he would do the dishes. I figured I slaved away to a nice sunday meal and Jeremy could just clean up. Well I was off getting other things together I came to check on the cookies that I had in the oven and this is what I came back to.

Married life has been great so far. We work with one and another and we both have been called as primary teachers together. You would think that we would be sick of eachother but we are just loving every minute.

Victoria

We had a great honeymoon. It was fun to just be away and spend time with one another. We went to Victoria at first and checked out all the fun sites. There were beautiful buildings, castles, whales, gardens. Granted it was raining half the time but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Here was our first Canadian money. Our 80 cents is there dollar so it was like everything was 20 percent off. Here was this castle that we went to. I of course decided to slide down the banister. Just kidding I really didn't.

I was really into totem poles when I was there so I tried to look just like them.

We also went whale watching. Well we took a boat that was going to take to see whales but we didn't actually see any. When we came on the ferry we saw a couple of pods of okras so we were so excited to go whale watching. It ended up not being so much watching whales but watching really choppy water. We made the best of it.

My favorite part of the trip and pretty much why I wanted to go here was for the Bushard Gardens. Such beautiful flowers and trees. We spend almost half a day there looking at everything and only left because we were going to miss our ferry if we didn't leave soon.

Our last day we spent in seattle. We went over to the future of flight which showed us how the boeing jet works and the future planes that are coming. It was really cool. Here am I learning how to fly. I also designed a aircraft that I am planning on selling for a small billion. Its in the works. Our last night we had dinner at the Space Needle. It was really cool. We decided to splurge and have dinner at the resturant. It was perfect since it was right at sunset.

Our Wedding Day

I didn't realize how fast a week goes. Well here are some pictures from the wedding. It was a great day. We started out at the San Diego Temple where we were sealed for time and all eternity. It was such a beautiful sealing and we were so touched by everyone was there.
The reception was beautiful. I was busy getting ready and didn't even know what to expect when we arrived but it was amazing!

The ring cermony was great. My bishop gave a great talk to explain how important our sealing was. And then my dear friend Heather sang a beautiful song for us.

Then it was time to party. Jeremy busted some moves out that I was not expecting. Everyone learned "The Hoy" that night.
