Here Comes the Bride...

Jeremy and I are now officially engaged!!! Last tuesday we went to the temple and did a session. Afterwards we walked around the temple grounds and the back where the bride and groom come out, he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so excited!! oh and I said yes. We were lucky to have plans for dinner two of my close friends right afterwards so it was so special to spend it with them. The one minor detail is that I forgot the camera in my car which was in escondido!
My parents have been amazingly supportive. I am still feel like I am dreaming. A little part of me never thought this would ever happen to me. At the same time I just can't image my life without Jeremy. I am so lucky to find my other half.
Well May 2nd is the day. I am sure that there will be post on the wedding plans

Happy New Years

We went down to the Rose Parade for New Year's. It was tons of fun! We met up with Shelby and Chris who do it every year. We brought food, noise makers, hats, and all sorts of stuff to ring in the new year. Later that night we went for a walk down Colorado and they were all partying for 2009. It is a tradition for cars to drive by and people to throw shaving cream, silly string, marshmallows and tortillas at the cars. We didn't understand the tortilla throwing but whatever. We decided it was the one time where people were allowed to vandalize other people's property because there were cops everywhere and no one was getting arrested for throwing things at people's car. It was alot of fun and we can't wait to go back some time.

My first Christmas present!

I got to work on monday and found a great surprise. Jeremy gave me an early Christmas present. It was so sweet. I have never gotten candy from anyone so this was really special. I am not going to lie, I kind if got a great catch for a guy!

The Ramifications from Football

I fell playing football and I thought that it was just jammed but it looked black and blue and I couldn't move it. So I went to the doctor to check it out. The doctor looked at my hand and said that it was either fractured or broken and I would need surgery and put a pin in it and I would have to go to San Diego tomorrow to get other x-rays. Well I was freaking out! So I got the x-rays and she came back in the room and sounded shocked by saying "I cant find anything?!?!" I got to look at the x-ray and there was nothing wrong. She saw a line that she saw in other places. So she was going to send it to other doctors just to make sure but for the most part my hand was just bruised. She did tell me she wanted me to wrap it up. I was thinking a little splint. And she was thinking:
THIS IS FOR A BRUISED KNUCKLE!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?

Powderpuff Football

I have been SO excited to play flag football! I started this team a couple of months ago and our first game kept being pushed back then finally game day came!! We were all pumped. Our Elders Quorum came out and cheered us on. My parents came out too. We actually took out Christmas photo because we forgot to during thanksgiving.

Check out our team:

Natalie and I got our game faces and struck a pose too:We didn't end up winning but had a really good time and can't wait for our next game on saturday.

Gingerbread House Making

A couple of Sundays we got together and made some gingerbread houses. It was fun hanging out with friends. Our house didn't turn out the greatest but I blame the people we were with for hogging all the tools. Jeremy got into in the end. We may try it again and perfect our work.
